Full technical basis and contextOpen this section to read the complete source technical narrative.

Research on modeling may be conducted by various parties, including individuals and institutions from universities, government or private research institutions, NGO research organizations, and other institutions whose research results can contribute to the advancement of marine science and technology. The research is expected to be frontier-oriented and to generate new ideas for solving coastal and marine problems. The main priority is given to undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students who are completing final projects, theses, or dissertations. Researchers from research institutions and other organizations are expected to produce scientific papers for publication in national or international journals after completing their studies and assessments.

Support in obtaining research data from national and international institutions.

Support in applying coastal and marine modeling technology, from model development and setup to the interpretation of modeling results.

Support for field surveys and observations to verify and validate the model.

Next Step

Share the need, location, available data, and the decision to be supported.

The CORZ team will review the objective, scope, data availability, risk level, schedule, and required outputs to prepare a proportionate approach.
